Everyone in Whoville the tall and the small loved Christmas allot, the Grinch who lived on the top of Mount Crumpet did not. That is the beginning of one of the best Christmas books ever. I am a purist as you well know by my reviews of DAREDEVIL how much of a purist I am. I love the Boris Karloff version. But I must admit I liked the Jim Carey version is cool.

The extention of the story, the new characters, the humor, the perfomances all work. It is a classic story redone for the next century and well worth watching if you are a fan of the book or the cartoon special. THE GRINCH THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS.
